Holiday Teen Talent Extravaganza!
Date: Saturday, December 13th
Time: 1pm to 4pm
Location: Holy Cross Church - 125 Oriental Street
• Seeking teens between the ages of 13 and 19 years
• Showcase talent in singing, poetry/rap, music, art, and dance
• Auditions will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008

Norma L. Jarrett
Norma Jarrett’s work has gained attention in USA Today, Essence, Upscale, Gospel Truth, QBR and Rolling Out magazines.  Among other awards, her literary work received a Certificate of  Congressional Recognition. Her novels include Sunday Brunch (Voted “Best Girlfriend Book by Upscale Magazine), Sweet Magnolia (an Essence Magazine 2006 Book Club selection), and This Wasn’t On The Menu, the sequel to Sunday Brunch, to be released in 2008.

Michelle Stimpson
Bestselling author Michelle Stimpson also walks in the roles as an accomplished speaker and educator. Her novels include Boaz Brown, Divas of Damascus Road (Essence Bestseller), and the upcoming 2008 release, The Good Stuff. She recently penned an inspirational God-help book titled Breaking Bondage to Biscuits and is in the process of negotiating a young adult series.
